In the good old days, college was where you sent your kids so that they could expand their minds and prepare for the real world. Today, colleges have become glorified daycares where young adults are encouraged to act like children who fall apart at the slightest imagined offense. Here are the five most politically correct colleges in the United States.

5. Harvard University

Apparently, the best way to prove that you’re not a racist is by ushering in a new era of segregation. Harvard recently announced that they will begin holding “black only” graduation ceremonies, taking us back to the 1950s in the name of “progress.”

4. Oberlin College

Oberlin made the news when a group of mostly white students threw a fit that the ethnic cuisine in the cafeteria wasn’t “authentic” enough and therefore deeply offensive. Prominent leftist and Oberlin alum Lena Dunham agreed, stating that the lack of authentic sushi on campus was a serious offense.

3. Amherst College

No one will ever deny that any instance of sexual assault should be treated with the utmost seriousness. However, anyone with an ounce of common sense understands that all allegations of assault should be handled with a thorough investigation and a fair trial. Amherst College famously expelled a student who was accused of sexual assault, despite the fact that the facts of the case didn’t add up.

2. Yale University

We’re getting to a place where it seems as if the Ivy League schools are no longer homes to the top minds in the country, but rather the stupidest. Yale brought us “Halloweengate,” which was a campus-wide tantrum by the supposed best and brightest in response to a professor’s relatively tame e-mail urging students not to take the issue of “culturally appropriative” Halloween costumes so seriously.

1. University of California, Berkeley

If you follow the news, you’re probably not surprised that Berkeley tops this list. Once the home of the free speech movement, Berkeley is now the home of riots and censorship campaigns against prominent conservative speakers. It’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured at one of these so-called “student uprisings” against free speech.

It’s unknown whether or not this trend of PC culture, safe spaces and offense-taking will continue or if academia will finally come to its collective senses. However, one thing is for sure and that is that you should think twice about where you send your kids to school.
